I created Japanese Kanji Study Tool as a simple, distraction-free way to study individual Japanese kanji. Everything runs locally in your browser from a single HTML file, so once you've downloaded it, you can study anywhere — even without an internet connection.

A few things to know
This tool is designed for studying individual kanji characters, not complete Japanese vocabulary.
It also doesn't use spaced repetition (SRS). Instead, you decide what you've learned by marking kanji as Known or Unknown and reviewing them whenever you want. Some learners prefer this more flexible approach, especially when studying alongside textbooks or JLPT materials.
